We invite you to participate in our research about people’s knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours related to sun exposure.
We know that too much time spent in the sun causes skin cancer. We also know that some exposure to the sun is good for us. For instance, the sun allows the body to naturally form vitamin D which is important for good health.
So how much sun exposure should we get? To answer this question, we are holding a Sun Exposure Summit with national and international experts in March 2020. Input from Australians like you will help our experts as they review current advice.
The Sun Survey will take you about 10 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous and is open to people aged over 18 years.
We would love you to share the survey with your friends and family, so please forward this website by email or through your social media channels: https://www.qimrberghofer.edu.au/sun-survey/.
Thank you for your interest in completing this survey. The following FAQs have been prepared to provide you with more information. You may telephone us to ask questions if there is anything you do not understand or want to know about.
If you would like further information about this project, please contact our research assistant on (07) 3362 0296 or email SunSurvey@qimrberghofer.edu.au.
