Metabolomics

Metabolomics is the field of studying the complete set of small-molecule metabolites (<1.5 kDa), commonly known as the metabolome, in biological systems like cells, biofluids, tissues or organisms under a given set of conditions.

The QIMR Berghofer Metabolomics Facility houses state-of-the-art mass spectrometry, high-performance liquid chromatography, and robotic instrumentation to perform targeted and untargeted metabolomics for researchers within QIMR Berghofer and external collaborators/clients.
