We collaborate with researchers from Menzies Research Institute Tasmania on some aspects of these research projects. The Ausimmune Study was a case-control study exploring the environmental risk factors for the onset of central nervous system demyelinating disease (multiple sclerosis). The Ausimmune Study was completed at the end of 2008 and several papers have been published on the results of the study. Other analyses are currently underway. The AusLong I and II studies have followed the cases from the Ausimmune Study for five and 10 years, respectively.
