CAREER HISTORY

Tara Crandon is a PhD Student in the Child & Youth mental health group at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Tara has a Master’s degree on Psychology and practices as a Psychologist with children, adolescents and young adults. Her clinical and research interests are in supporting children and adolescents experiencing mental health concerns.

CURRENT AREA OF RESEARCH

As younger generations are more vulnerable to climate change over their lifetime, Tara is currently investigating the impact this will have on their mental health. In particular, Tara’s area of interest is the experience of climate anxiety in adolescents.
