WORK HISTORY

Lucía Colodro Conde graduated with degrees in Psychology and MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Murcia (Spain), where she did most of her training. She moved to Australia in 2014 with a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Seneca Foundation – Regional Agency for Science and Technology (Spain) to work at the Psychiatric Genetics laboratory at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Following this, she was awarded the QIMR postdoctoral fellowship and she currently manages a project funded by Queensland health. She applies statistical genetics to the study of individual differences in mental health, women’s health, the brain, and personality. She works across disorders to investigate their genetic foundations and their interaction with environmental factors.
