Sex and the City fans will be flaunting their fabulous fashions on the race track at Toowoomba on Saturday 25 September to raise money for medical research.
The legendary Fitton Insurance Charity Race Day is on again, with exciting races, glamorous fashions, beautiful scenery and great prizes to win all day – all in the name of charity.
The Fitton Insurance Charity race day is a long-established event which features the appearance of the new season’s two year olds. Many top horses have begun their careers in the Fitton Insurance Hopeful Plate and just as importantly, many thousands of dollars have been raised for charities at the themed race day.
Highlights of the day include a fashion parade by Smoke and Mirrors; exclusive display of Alan Thomson Design Jewellery featuring diamonds, opals and pearls; a raffle featuring return flights for two to Melbourne, luxury accommodation, gourmet dining experiences, tour of Melbourne city and racing at Caulfield. There will be a gala auction including must-have fashion pieces, Shiseido cosmetics, antique items and artworks. You can also win a stallion service to Tycoon Ruler, who is setting the racing world on fire; he stands at Clear Mountain Fairview.
And, of course, Fashions on the Field, including prizes for best dressed couple, and best dressed gentleman. A highly sought-after prize will be a $500 gift voucher kindly donated by the exclusive Mitchell Ogilvie Menswear.
All proceeds raised will go to the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) and Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.
The Fitton Insurance Race Day will be held at Clifford Park on Saturday 25 September starting at 4pm. Tickets are $95 per person and can be purchased by contacting Fitton Insurance Brokers on (07) 4638 4233
