The Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) has teamed up with GraysOnline to run a charity auction giving sporting fans the chance to get their hands on some rare sporting memorabilia, with bidding starting at only $9.
All proceeds will support medical research into the causes and prevention of over 40 of the world’s most debilitating diseases including cancer, malaria, HIV, mental health and asthma.
The prized collection includes framed photos of the infamous Australia vs England 1932-1933 Bodyline Ashes test series, featuring autographs from English cricket captain Douglas R Jardine, fast bowler Harold Larwood and Aussie legend Don Bradman.
More than 40 sports collector’s items are available for auction, including autographed photos, drawings and uniforms signed by some of Australia’s greatest sporting legends.
