Help Fund the long COVID Biomarker Trial

There has been unprecedented interest in our ground-breaking long COVID research and potential treatment. See our media release here.

Given the level of interest from sufferers of this debilitating condition, Professor Sudha Rao is now trying to raise the funds to expand the long COVID Biomarker Trial to include more participants.

Your help is urgently needed to raise $100,000 to fund another 50 places for long COVID sufferers to participate in the Biomarker Trial.

The more participants in the trial, the more blood samples are being tested. This will help accelerate progress to help get the drug to the clinical trial stage and potentially put an end to long COVID.

About the Long COVID Biomarker Trial

  • The long COVID Biomarker Trial involves a collection of a blood samples taken from people with long COVID.
  • The long COVID Biomarker blood test aims to detect the presence of the biomarker signalling that cells have a protective “lock” on the ACE2 receptor preventing reinfection from COVID.
  • The researchers are also testing the drug, NACE2i, on the blood samples to see if it restores the “lock” on patients with long COVID.
