QIMR Berghofer is excited to be a sponsor for this conference. Plans for HGM 2020 are well underway with four Plenary Speakers, including out own Professor Georgia Chenevix-Trench, and 20+ Symposium Speakers confirmed.
The HGM Early Career Researcher Symposium will take place pre-conference, on April 5 and invites students and post-docs to speak about their work, with the most outstanding presenters being provided with an opportunity to speak at the main meeting. The ECR Symposium will also provide networking opportunities with a Sundowner at the conclusion of the Symposium overlooking the Swan River.
The main program will commence on April 6 and will encompass three level themes covering researchers working in all areas of human genomics; Genome Function, Populations and Variants and Into the Clinic. The format of the meeting will consist of plenary sessions, as well as concurrent sessions, trade displays and many networking opportunities, such as the Welcome Reception, Poster Sessions and the Gala Dinner where local Western Australian produce will be on show.
Perth will play host for this exciting meeting and the Local Organising Committee look forward to showcasing what this wonderful city has to offer.
