All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival, provided they meet health and character requirements).
If you are planning to visit Australia for an event such as a conference, meeting or seminar, you may need to apply for a business visitor visa. The passport you hold determines whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application.

If you require a visa letter in order to attend, we strongly encourage you to begin the visa application process four months before the conference. To request a visa letter
A. Register for the conference.
B . Email email@example.com with your request for a visa letter and include the following information:
- › Attach your conference registration confirmation email
- › Full name as it appears on your passport: Last name, first and middle names
- › Gender
- › Email address
- › Telephone number
- › Detailed postal address
- › Country of Passport, passport number and passport expiry date
- › Current country of residence
- › Date of birth
- › Session you are presenting in (if presenting at the conference)
- › Proposed visit dates to Australia.
We will email your letter as a PDF file and place it in the mail (usually within five business days).
