The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is located in the heart of Brisbane city, at South Bank. The venue has a variety of accommodation options located nearby and in the CBD, which is across the river. The venue is well-serviced by a variety of public transport options, including bus, rail, Citycat (ferry) and taxi. Go-Cards are preferred (but not essential) to travel on public transport in Brisbane. These cards can be purchased and topped up from 7-Eleven stores, tourist information centres, and public transport stations.
