CAREER HISTORY

Igor Filipović is a computer systems, software and electronic engineer with over twenty years of experience in the fields of life sciences, diagnostic imaging, IT and electronics. He enjoys implementing his prototyping, reverse engineering and troubleshooting skills in the fields of NGS and bioinformatics to advance life science research projects. Since 2012 he has been supporting research focused on innovative mosquito control in Australia and abroad. Igor’s work has been published in journals such as Nature, Science, BMC Biology, PLOS NTD, Scientific Reports, BMC Genomics and others.
