The D-Health Trial is the world’s second-largest randomised trial of high-dose vitamin D for the prevention of disease in older adults. Approximately 21,000 people have been recruited and will be supplemented for five years. Information about their health is obtained through surveys and linkage with national datasets. For more information go to the D-Health website.
The D-Health Trial is now at a stage where it can accommodate postgraduate research students who are interested in the analysis of trial data. Students will have some choice in which outcomes they choose to analyse.
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in a health discipline, public health, epidemiology or statistics. Training and experience in statistical analysis is essential.
